| It all started in the fall of 2010, Bob Auth and Duane Davis rode their motorcycles to Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Festival in Kentucky. Bob said to Duane, we could have a festival on our farm where another major event had been going since 2000. Well these two fellows set a weekend date for 2011 on the spot and named it Winding Creek Bluegrass Festival. These two crazy guys actually hired the first band that same day and the rest has been history! Bob and Duane love people, love music and always shake everyone’s hand who attends the festival on Friday and Saturday night! A final note is, they couldn’t do Winding Creek without the help of their wives Robin and Debbie. Also, with all the help of their friends and supporters! Duane started the phrase Winding Creek Family! Everyone who attends are Winding Creek Family and we appreciate you all! |
